Frank Westenberg

Since I was a child, I’ve always had a broad passion for technology, which showed in things like taking apart old electronics and conducting chemistry experiments. Nowadays, I also put electronics back together as a volunteer at the Repair Café. During my Chemistry studies at Radboud University, I always kept my elective courses broad, ranging from sustainable development to climate and energy.

 

In my master's phase, I focused on making solar cells more efficient. At Sparkling Projects, I apply the knowledge gained there to provide advice and inspections related to solar panels. From analyzing electricity usage and applying for subsidies to tendering and Scope 12 inspections, it all comes into play. I don’t just focus on solar panels; I find the interaction between the panels and technologies such as batteries, heat pumps, and charging stations very interesting.
