FLEX-E

The Flex-E subsidy is a scheme by the Dutch government that supports businesses in making their electricity consumption more flexible, with the aim of reducing the impact of grid congestion and contributing to a more stable and sustainable energy grid.

The scheme offers financial support for three specific components:

  1. Flexibility scan: An analysis that provides insights into the possibilities for making electricity consumption more flexible.
Subsidy: 50% of the costs, with a maximum of €10,000.

  2. Feasibility study: A thorough investigation into the technical and economic feasibility of the identified flexibility measures.
Subsidy: 50% of the costs, with a maximum of €125,000.

  3. Implementation of flexibility measures: The implementation of concrete measures such as energy storage or smart control systems.
Subsidy: 35% of the investment costs, with a maximum of €300,000.
